I’m Livia, I run a small design company named Three 29 Design based in the UK, but working around the globe with various clientele and a range of projects. Please note this was previously Fraawgz Graphics however as you can tell the much needed name change took place. I shall continue to run this blog in order to catch those who don’t realize the name change along with the new blog, website and myspace pages.

I haven’t been doing this for very long at all. I first found Photoshop Elements 2.0 in my home’s study, doing nothing so I decided to install it and see what it did. I gradually became interested in what could be done and I taught myself from scratch. At this time I was in my second year of college and they didn’t offer any design courses so I wasn’t able to enroll and get any paper to prove I could do it. I did however take part in an Extended Project Qualification, which is a 100% independent study in which the student can do anything, from English Lit to Horse Riding. I saw it as an opportunity to prove I could do it so I chose to do Graphic design & working with clients. I received a grade A for this project.

Now I use Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Edition boxset which is basically the mother of all editing programs, from images to film and music. To go with that I have an extremely fast Apple iMac to keep up with my workflow, a proof printer to make sure client work is printable before I sent it off and of course the good ol’ grey matter to think up ideas and concepts to use on clients work.

This is no longer a hobby for me. I work full time, 8 to 12 hours a day, so if you’re going to contact me and ask for free work because you don’t have the funds to pay or don’t think design is worth paying for, go else where. I have no time for those who are disrespectful to people making there own way in life turning something they love into a career.. Don’t embarrass yourself!

What programs do I use?

I recently invested in Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Edition therefore I have access to a complete set of programs to do with image, sound and video editing. The main programs I use however are;

What related Education do I have?

As I started graphic design a year into my two years of college I did not study it there, especially as they didn’t offer it. Therefore I’m 100% self taught. However I did take part in an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) which resulted in me receiving a grade A on ‘Graphic Design & Working with Clients’. This is equivalent to an A Level.

‘Remember any kid with an internet connection can download a copy of photoshop and call themselves a designer. When they’re far from it. Be careful.’

You can learn the program, but creativity is in your blood, it can’t be taught.
