In late July Fraawgz Graphics went through a name change; Three 29 Design (three two nine).

The reasons are obvious; firstly I personally find GFX/Graphics quite un professional and very much a starter kind of word. Fraawgz was a dumb nickname a friend gave me back in high school, I started to use it online as an Alias when I did online promotion for a record label as no one really needed to know any real part of me then. When I started design I chose Fraawgz Graphics because thats what it was, my work, but back then my skills lacked. Now I’m ‘considered’ a professional because I work full time however in skill I have a long way to go as well as having come a long way in a year. I consider myself high intermediate to advanced, depending on what I work on.

A new name was key to me being able to introduce myself to others, outside of the usual client comfort zone of primarily up and coming artists within urban music. I love working for new artists, establishing a new and fresh relationship with people who have as much passion for what they do, as do I. However that does not mean I want to stay only working within that area, I’d like to open my horizon to other areas of the media. I am not set on mixtape covers, I still do them but really that’s no career choice, like everyone, I want to get somewhere good with my job in order to earn higher salaries and become better known, whilst doing something I love.

There were many names I wanted to choose from, however they did tend to sway towards a certain side, many towards macabre, and that would have gone against what I was trying to do. Therefore I made the decision of going with a name created from the day I was placed on this world ;] Sorry if I sound a little religious with that, I’m far from it. 3.29.91. I personally pronouce it as Three Two Nine Design however I understand many will say it as Three Twenty-Nine, that’s no biggie.

I do have big plans for this company and am already in talks with people over expanding, just after 2 weeks of it being around.

Please note this is a company and not a business, just waiting on receiving papers back for forming a Limited Company. The office is UK based, however we can work worldwide of course thanks to the web ;]
